Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming how we work across every profession - and social work is no exception.
As the technology continues to advance, social workers, people with lived experience, and wider social work professionals need a voice in shaping how it's developed and used.
天美mv and are partnering together to host a free in-person AI Summit.
Building digital skills is at the heart of the Workforce Strategy for Adult Social Care in England.
Our focus is clear: AI should support, not replace, professional judgement. It should uphold the values and ethics at the heart of social work and help:
- meet people's needs more effectively and efficiently
- improve outcomes for individuals
- enhance workforce wellbeing.
Join us to hear from social work teams and individuals using AI, try out new tools, and consider how it could be used in future social work.
Who should attend?
The event is for anyone with an interest in social work across England, including:
- Colleagues from across social work
- People with lived experience
- Policy leaders
- Technologists with a focus on AI
- Academics with a focus on social work and/or AI
We are inviting colleagues, from any of these broad groups, to share your experience of putting AI into practice.
What will I get out of the summit?

A CPD certificate will be made available for all attendees.
Can you share your experiences and learning on AI?
Help others and influence the future of AI in social work by sharing your experiences.
We have opportunities to host workshops, run demonstrations, join panel discussions or exhibit at the summit.
